Dr Gary B. Nackman MD - Clifton, New Jersey USA
founded NJ Vein Care with the vision of creating a medical practice focused on the comprehensive management of patients with venous disorders. Dr. Nackman has a long-standing interest in caring for patients with complex venous disorders, and has over 15 yrs. experience in all facets of vein and wound care. Dr. Nackman received his B.S. Summa Cum Laude from Union College and his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1988. Dr. Nackman is an attending surgeon at the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Dr. Nackman is listed in the Consumer’s Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Surgeons”. He is a member and has served as an officer of national and local societies including the Society for Vascular Surgery, Association for Academic Surgery, Society of University Surgeons, and the Vascular Society of New Jersey. He has made numerous presentations at national and international meetings, authored textbook chapters, peer reviewed papers and reviews papers for medical journals. Dr Sebastian Conti, M.D., F.A.C.S. - Sacramento, California USA
is a Vascular Surgeon with over 30 years experience in the diagnosis and treatment of vein disorders, trained at Columbia University’s St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City. He served in the rank of Major and was a staff surgeon in the United States Air Force, Wright Patterson AFB, a USAF referral and teaching facility. He joined the academic faculty at UC Davis School of Medicine in 1977. While at UCD, his clinical and research focus was on venous disease and thrombosis. He published original peer-reviewed scientific articles and three textbook chapters on vein disorders. Dr. Conti established the first Vascular Diagnostic Laboratory at UC Davis, and later, established Vascular Laboratories in the Mercy Hospitals. He is past Chairman of the Vascular Surgery Division at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael and a member of the Sacramento-Sierra Medical Society, the California Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr Stephen D. Torpy MD FACS - Omaha, Nebraska USA
is an Omaha native. He received his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical College Magna Cum Laude in 1974. He is a member of the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his surgical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin including training at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, England.

Upon completion of his residency, he returned to Omaha in 1979 and has been in the practice of general and vascular surgery since then. Professor Nadey Hakim PhD MD FRCS FRCSI FACS FICS (Hon) FASMBS - London, UK
is the Surgical Director of the West London Transplant Unit. He received an MD from Paris Descartes University with surgical training from Guy's University and a PhD from UCL. Professor Hakim also has a Gastrointestinal Fellowship from the Mayo Clinic and Transplant University of Minnesota, and is a transplant tutor for the London Schoolof Surgery.

He has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers and has written/edited 18 textbooks in the field of general, transplant and bariatric surgery. He is Editor in Chief of International Surgery and is on the editorial board of Transplantation proceedings, graft, experimental and clinical transplantation.

Professor Hakim was awarded the 2007 J. Wesley Alexander prize for outstanding research in the field of transplantation. In 2002, Professor Hakim was certified in the use of Veinwave and has since offered the treatment from his private clinic at 84 Harley Street, London.
