Answer

The word 'hurt' is wholly subjective. Most people who have previously suffered the trauma of a laser treatment see Veinwave as a relatively pain free alternative. There are of course those who have very low pain thresholds and will feel the treatment more than others. It does depend on the part of the body being treated. Veinwave can be used to treat intranasal veins, possibly the most sensitive part of ones body, but yet still in relative comfort, causing no more than a watery eye. Veinwave, at its worst, has been described as causing a minor and instantaneous stinging sensation which doesnt linger - some liken it to plucking a hair. To put this into context, we do not recommend nor see it as necessary for our practitioners to use any form of anaesthesia whatsoever - compare that with some treatments where legs have to be effectively frozen in advance to qwell the pain!
